Killerig Golf Club presents a superb Par 72 Championship Golf Course. There are water features on six holes and the greens, constructed to the highest U.S.G.A specification, are quite magnificent. One gets a feeling of being far away from the pressures of everyday life at Killerig, which is situated in an area of rich, natural beauty. The course has been imaginatively designed by Des Smyth, assisted by Declan Branigan and his golf course design and marketing company, which has been associated with Fota Island, Rathsallagh, Powerscourt and the Glen of the Downs.They have created a most exciting and challenging golf experience in a rich parkland reflecting the beauty of Carlow’s panoramic landscape.
