Tullamore County OffalyTullamore - Tulach Mhor - Big HillTullamore is the county town of Offaly. Tullamore is known for many reasons, one of which is the famous Tullamore Dew and Irish Mist whiskeys. Tullamore Dew was distilled by Tullamore Distillery dating back to 1829. The distillery closed in the 1950s but Tullamore Dew is now produced in Midleton, County Cork. Tullamore is a major commercial and industrial centre in the midlands of Ireland. The town received a bronze medal in the National Tidy Towns Competition in 2004.
