About Us

Ireland View was born out of a simple frustration: too many websites about Ireland felt either too commercial, too shallow or too focused on the same ten tourist attractions. We wanted something different. We wanted a space where real stories about Ireland could be told properly where a small festival in County Leitrim deserved the same attention as a headline event in Dublin, and where a family-run guesthouse in Donegal could stand proudly alongside a five-star hotel. Ireland View is that space. It was founded by a small team of writers, travellers and Ireland enthusiasts who share one conviction: this island has far more to offer than most people realise, and it deserves a platform that does it justice.

From our very first article, we committed to a set of values that still guide everything we publish today. We write honestly which means we recommend places we have actually visited, report stories we have actually researched and share opinions we actually hold. We cover six categories that reflect the full texture of life on the island: News, Travel, Stay, Food, Explore and Events. Together, these six areas give us the range to follow Ireland wherever it leads through political moments, culinary revolutions, hidden landscapes and living cultural traditions that deserve to be celebrated rather than forgotten.

We are proud to be independent. Ireland View does not belong to a media group, a tourism board or a commercial interest. That independence is what allows us to write about what genuinely matters rather than what is convenient or sponsored. It is also what gives our readers the confidence to trust what they find here. If you want to know more about the people who write for Ireland View, visit our Editorial Team page and meet the writers behind the words. If you run a business in Ireland and believe your story fits what we stand for, we would love to hear from you on our Add Your Business page.

Ireland View is a living project it grows with the island it covers. We add new voices, explore new corners and follow new stories as Ireland itself evolves. If you want to be part of that journey, subscribe to our Newsletter and get the best of Ireland View delivered directly to your inbox. And if you ever have a question, a suggestion or simply something worth sharing, our door is always open on our Contact Us page. Ireland View exists because Ireland deserves it and because people like you are curious enough to look for more.
