Editorial Team

Ireland View is built on the belief that good writing comes from genuine knowledge and real passion. Every member of our editorial team has a deep personal connection to Ireland through birth, through years of living on the island, or through the kind of long, slow love affair with a place that only travel can create. We do not assign articles to generalists who google their way through a subject. We match every story to a writer who has lived it, researched it or experienced it first-hand. That commitment to authenticity is what separates Ireland View from content farms and generic travel blogs, and it is the standard we hold ourselves to with every single piece we publish across our News, Travel, Stay, Food, Explore and Events categories.

Our team covers the full spectrum of Irish life. On the journalism side, we have writers with formal training in news reporting and years of experience covering Irish politics, social affairs and community stories that rarely reach a national audience. On the travel and exploration side, we have contributors who have walked the Causeway Coastal Route, slept in remote Connemara cottages and spent years mapping the hidden heritage sites that most visitors never find. Our food and hospitality writers bring the same rigour to a restaurant review as our news team brings to a political analysis honest, specific and always written with the reader’s best interests in mind.
