The village is a model of the old West Cork Railway Line with fully working trains and the towns that the railway served. Each model is a replica of the town as it was back in the 1940ís and itís a great way to make local history real for all ages. The new indoor interpretive room that tells the story of the railway towns and the people who lived and worked on the lines support this. Our indoor soft play room and outdoor playground is a great way for children to let off steam while you put the feet up in our charming tea rooms in an original train carriage or browse our gift shop.
