On Saturday the bill features British virtual-band pioneers Gorillaz, while Friday’s main billing will include Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi, who inadvertently announced his own appearance in June. Capaldi is scheduled to play alongside the Irish act Sombr.
Three new signings and Irish favourites
Electric Picnic confirmed that Amble, Van Morrison and Aaron Rowe have been added to the roster among the most recent signings. The additions broaden a bill already heavy on domestic talent.
Dunboyne’s CMAT will bring her viral tracks to the Stradbally stage, including fan favourites “Euro-Country” and “Take A Sexy Picture Of Me”. US artist Role Model is also set to perform his TikTok hit “Sally, When The Wine Runs Out” — and, in keeping with his live routine, he plans to invite a crowd member to join him onstage for the song.
Other confirmed performers across the weekend include Zara Larsson, Skepta, Wunderhorse, Geese and Sombr, reinforcing the event’s mix of pop, hip-hop and alternative rock.

The line-up first drew widespread comment when organisers revealed the headliners in December. Social media responses leaned positive, with fans praising the selection.
Comments included: “The best lineup in EP history actually,” and “What an amazing lineup.” Some festival-goers went further, calling it “the best one yet” and applauding the headliners after a period when many festivals adjusted their offerings.
