Radio presenter Katja Mia kicked off a weekend hen party in Paris as she prepares to wed her husband, Daragh Curran, again next month in Italy. The getaway — timed for the bank holiday — combined sightseeing, Champagne and a string of party outfits shared with her social followers.

The celebrations began early on Thursday after a short night: Katja told followers she had only three hours’ sleep and felt “delirious” as the group set off. The party atmosphere arrived mid-flight, where Aer Lingus cabin crew presented her with a printed itinerary created by friends.
Flights were punctuated with Champagne and chatter, and the extra day afforded by the bank holiday allowed the group to squeeze in more of the Paris programme than a standard weekend would permit.

Basecamp with a view
The bridal party stayed in a rented three-bedroom apartment, which Katja showed off to fans. The flat included a living area and a rooftop terrace offering views across the city — a handy backdrop for evening photos.

Throughout the weekend the bridal party embraced a clear theme: friends wore headbands marked Team Bride and even carried playful cut-outs of Daragh’s face mounted on sticks.
Outfits for the nights out

Night one: a lace corset mini
For the first evening, Katja chose the Zoey Lace Corset Mini Dress by Meshki, priced at €235. She described it as a “V-neck, deep plunge dress” with lace and substantial boning, saying it “feels very bridal.” The design’s panelled construction and internal boning give a sculpted fit, while scalloped lace edges soften the look.

Katja paired the mini with Carvela White Petalo sandals from Next (€224.50), a small white bag by Irish designer Aisling Kavanagh and a hen-party veil clipped into an updo. She also shared that her evening scent was Sì by Giorgio Armani.
Night two: sequins and cutouts
The following night she again wore Meshki, this time selecting the Adoria Sequin Cut Out Maxi Dress. “This was kind of a last-minute buy, but I’m absolutely obsessed. I can’t wear Spanx with it, so it’s a brave one to wear,” she told followers.
The gown is described as a sleeveless, sequined maxi with a square neckline and deliberate cutouts at the sides and back that accentuate the silhouette. Wide straps fasten into a bra-style closure at the upper back.
She carried a vintage Lady Dior mini bag and completed the look with sparkling Steve Madden heels.
The Paris weekend covered just the first leg of pre-wedding celebrations ahead of the couple’s ceremony in Italy next month, with more events still to come.
