Extra tickets released for The Weeknd’s Croke Park shows

Extra tickets for The Weeknd’s Dublin shows at Croke Park have been released, offering a second chance for fans who missed the first sale. The limited allocation is now on Ticketmaster and carries a significant price and service-charge range, so demand is expected to be strong.

Tickets: price, availability and fees

MCD Productions confirmed a small number of additional tickets for the two Croke Park dates — Saturday, August 22, and Sunday, August 23 — are now available through Ticketmaster. Face values range from €137.25 to €187.25.

Each ticket is subject to a 12.5% service charge, capped at €10.50. Tickets originally went on sale last September, meaning this release is a later, limited top-up rather than a full reissue.

Support act and what to expect

The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye) will be joined by special guest Playboi Carti on the Irish dates as part of the ongoing After Hours Til Dawn Tour. The set is expected to mix longstanding hits with newer material.

Fans can anticipate songs such as Starboy, Can’t Feel My Face, I Feel It Coming, Cry For Me and Blinding Lights, along with tracks from his latest album, Hurry Up Tomorrow.

Where the tour stands

The European leg opened at Paris’s Stade de France and has included stops in Amsterdam, Nice and Milan. Further dates listed include Frankfurt, Warsaw and Stockholm, followed by two nights at London’s Wembley before the Dublin shows.

The run concludes with a date in Madrid on August 29. Over the past three years the After Hours Til Dawn Tour has travelled widely — with stadium shows across North America, Europe, the UK, South America and Australia — and has been described as the biggest R&B tour in history.

Demand and context

Demand is likely to be elevated: The Weeknd ranks among the world’s most-streamed artists on Spotify, with more than 113 million monthly listeners, a metric that helps explain rapid sell-outs and renewed ticket pushes.

If you intend to buy, act quickly. The additional allocation is limited, and the posted fees mean the final checkout price will be noticeably higher than the face value alone.
