Popeyes is set to open a fourth outlet in Ireland this September, bringing the US fast-food chain to Dundrum Town Centre. The arrival continues a rapid roll-out that began in Dublin earlier this year and follows strong demand at previous launches.

The new restaurant will open at Dundrum Town Centre and is scheduled to begin trading at 11am on Friday, 11th September 2026. It joins existing Irish sites in Blanchardstown and Liffey Valley in Dublin, and a location at Applegreen Midway in Laois.

What customers can expect
Menus will feature Popeyes’ signature fried chicken, including the chain’s crunchy coating known as Shatter Crunch, and its widely discussed, social-media-popular Chicken Sandwich. Guests can also order Hot Wings, Tenders, Chicken Wraps and the classic biscuits with Cajun gravy.
The Dundrum opening is being billed as a full-service mall outlet aimed at shoppers and families, with the brand promising the style of hospitality it has promoted during its Irish expansion.
Launch offers and promotions
To mark the opening, the operator has announced a series of promotional rewards for early arrivals.
- The first three people in the queue will receive free Chicken Sandwiches for a year.
- The first 50 visitors will be given exclusive Popeyes merchandise.
- The first 100 customers will get a free Chicken Sandwich.
Demand so far
Opening events for the chain’s earlier Dublin locations drew large crowds. Hundreds queued at the Blanchardstown launch, with reports of a 26-hour wait as fans sought free meals and merchandise.

Popeyes Dundrum Town will open to the public on Friday, 11th September 2026 at 11am. Visitors should expect the usual launch-day queues and promotional giveaways.
