Knappogue Castle was built in 1467 and is a magnificent example of a medieval tower house. The castle includes a furnished drawing room, dining room, chapel, great hall and a banquet hall that features medieval dinners. A wonderful feature of the castle and its surrounds is the beautiful walled garden which dates from 1817 and is restored to its former glory.
