James Blunt has added two Irish concerts to his 2027 tour schedule, bringing his forthcoming record and live show to Dublin and Belfast. The dates follow a run of recent announcements that are already shaping next year’s Irish music calendar.
Where and when he will play
Blunt will perform at Dublin’s 3Arena on Tuesday, 30 March 2027, and at The O2 in Belfast the following evening, Wednesday, 31 March. Both shows are part of his Airplane Mode Tour.

The new album behind the tour
The singer announced his eighth studio album, Airplane Mode, on social media, saying it was “surely [his] greatest”. The 12-track record is due for release on 6 November via Atlantic Records.
Two tracks have already been highlighted: the single “Tastes Like Summer” and a second single, “Weight Of It All”, which was released on Thursday. The tour dates come after that November release.
Ticketing details and presale
Pre-sale access is scheduled to start on Tuesday, 8 September for fans who pre-order the album before midnight on Sunday, 6 September. Blunt’s post specified that fans in the UK and Germany must pre-order via @amazonmusicuk and @amazonmusicDE to secure presale entry; elsewhere, orders from his official store will qualify.

General tickets go on sale on Wednesday, 9 September at 10am and will be available through Ticketmaster. Prices are reported to start at around €70.70/£49, which includes the booking fee but may be subject to additional service and facility charges.
Where this sits in the wider Irish line-up
The announcements arrive amid other high-profile Irish dates already confirmed for 2027. Acts such as Fontaines D.C. and Noah Kahan have also added shows, with Kahan recently expanding his Dublin run at the Aviva Stadium by adding a second date on Sunday 18 July after selling out Saturday 17 July.
Practical note for fans
Fans planning to attend should check the presale requirements carefully to ensure they qualify for early access. Tickets for both Blunt shows will be sold through Ticketmaster when sales open.
