What the sequel promises
The new film returns to the Owens family and the supernatural troubles that defined the original. The story centres on a renewed threat from a dark curse that endangers the family line.

As the drama unfolds, Sally — played by Sandra Bullock — faces fresh peril when her daughter, Kylie, uncovers long-buried secrets and begins to discover her own magical abilities. The family must follow the trail of their power to the United Kingdom, seeking the source of their abilities to protect future generations.
Release plans and coverage
Practical Magic 2 is scheduled for general release on September 11. Photographs and coverage from the Dublin premiere have been circulated by local media following the screening.
The gala offered Irish audiences an early taste of the film and a chance to see local figures gather for a nostalgic sequel.
