The Michelin Key marks Glenlo Abbey as one of a select group of hotels acknowledged for standout service, character and guest experience. The distinction highlights both the property’s design and the quality of its offering.
Vanessa Davis, commercial director at Glenlo Abbey, said the award reflects the team’s commitment and passion and that it validates the estate’s approach to creating authentic, memorable stays.
Historic setting, modern comfort
Set across 138 acres overlooking Lough Corrib, Glenlo Abbey blends historic features with contemporary luxury. The five-star property is listed in Ireland’s Blue Book and is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
Management says continued investment around the grounds and guest facilities has been central to enhancing the luxury experience for visitors to the estate.
Pullman Restaurant: a distinctive dining draw
Dining at Glenlo Abbey centres on the Michelin-starred Pullman Restaurant, known for staging its service within two carefully restored Orient Express carriages.
The restaurant focuses on Irish ingredients presented through inventive, finely tuned menus. Davis added that the team looks forward to continuing to showcase Irish hospitality from their base in Galway.
