How properties qualify

Ashford Castle singled out
Ashford Castle Hotel & Country Estate in Cong, Co Mayo, was the only Irish property to appear on TripAdvisor’s One-of-a-Kind list. The hotel was placed at number 12 and noted for its grand rooms, carefully tended grounds and a programme of activities including falconry and archery.
The estate’s managing director, Niall Rochford, welcomed the recognition and attributed it to genuine guest feedback and the work of the venue’s staff. He expressed gratitude to guests who shared their experiences and praised the team for delivering consistently memorable stays.
