BuJo Burger is opening a large new outlet on Dame Street, bringing its flagship restaurant to Central Plaza in the former Central Bank building. The launch includes a public celebration with free food and entertainment ahead of the official opening.
Flagship arrives at a central Dublin address
The chain, which already operates in Sandmount and Terenure, has chosen one of the city’s most recognisable buildings for its biggest site yet. The new venue at Central Plaza will occupy three floors and around 5,500 sq ft, with seating for up to 150 diners.

The building also currently houses the Dion restaurant, and BuJo’s fit-out aims to make full use of the high-profile location on Dame Street.
Outdoor spaces and distinctive features
In addition to its indoor areas, the restaurant will feature a sheltered ground-floor terrace. Plans include a second outdoor terrace and a rooftop garden, expanding options for al fresco dining.
A notable attraction will be the Sharing Table, an immersive dining setting that seats up to ten people and overlooks the grill. The concept is intended to offer a more social, theatrical meal experience.
Menu additions and local sourcing
Alongside BuJo’s established burger menu, the Central Plaza site will introduce a dessert range for the first time. The beer selection is said to be sourced exclusively from local suppliers.
Breakfast will also be served, with offerings such as high-protein bowls, award-winning coffee, the BuJo breakfast sandwich, and a takeaway option for commuters.
Opening dates, hours and launch event
Doors will officially open on Friday, 12 June, with regular hours from 9.30 am to 10.30 pm. Ahead of that, the public can attend a free-event day on Thursday, 11 June.
The launch festivities start at 12.30 pm on Thursday. Visitors that day can receive free burgers, live entertainment and goodie bags while stocks last.
