Louise Cantillon turned heads at a Killarney wedding on Friday, arriving in a pale blue strapless gown to celebrate her close friend Jess McGurk. The ceremony at the five-star Europe Hotel and Resort in Co Kerry brought together figures from Irish media and sport.
The ceremony and guests
McGurk married her long-term partner, financier Daragh McCormack, in a ceremony attended by family and friends. Among the guests was the bride’s mother, Miriam O’Callaghan, who joined the party at the lakeside hotel.

Guests gathered outside the hotel after the service, framed by the surrounding mountains and bright spring sunshine. Cantillon posted a short clip of the newlyweds walking down the aisle, captioning it: “The best weekend celebrating these lovers.”
Cantillon’s outfit and reaction online
The Today FM presenter chose a strapless organza gown in baby blue and shared several images from the celebrations on social media. In a twirling video she wrote that she “loved wearing this gúna” and described it as a “dress of dreams.”
Responses were enthusiastic. Commenters praised her look, comparing it to a fairy-tale style and complimenting the couple as they posed together.
Friends, sport and recent trips
Cantillon attended the wedding with her husband, former Limerick hurler Declan Hannon. The two couples have been close for some time and recently travelled to Paris to attend the races at the Hippodrome de Longchamp.
The weekend in Killarney appears to have been a private celebration among friends and family, shared partly through social posts but kept largely personal in tone.
