What to know before Calvin Harris performs at Marlay Park and Malahide Castle

Show summary Hide summary

Calvin Harris returns to Dublin this weekend for two outdoor shows, playing Marlay Park on Saturday and Malahide Castle and Gardens on Sunday as part of his European summer tour. Fans can expect a career-spanning DJ set, with local support acts and practical details that matter if you’re attending.

Setlist highlights

Set lists on the tour appear broadly consistent from night to night. While the exact running order may vary, attendees can expect a string of Calvin Harris’s best-known tracks from the past two decades.

Doors, support and running times

Gates at both venues open at 4pm, with the main show starting at 5pm. Australian DJ and producer Tyson O’Brien is scheduled to open, followed by Dublin’s own Jazzy from Crumlin ahead of Calvin Harris. Each night is expected to finish around 10.30pm.

Organisers advise allowing extra travel time to account for weekend traffic and any delays when arriving at the venues.

Weather and payments

Forecasts indicate rain across both days, with temperatures roughly between 19°C and 21°C. Bring waterproofs and dress for changeable conditions.

Most food and merchandise stalls will accept cash, but bars at the events are operating on a card-only basis. Consider carrying a card or using contactless payment to avoid queues.

What you cannot bring

Security rules are strict. Large bags or backpacks larger than A4 may be refused at entry, and seating or portable furniture is not permitted. All forms of alcohol are banned.

Only sealed plastic bottles of water or soft drinks up to 500ml are allowed. Other prohibited items include signs or flags larger than A3, flag poles, glass or cans, umbrellas, disposable vapes, flares, and professional camera or audio equipment.

Getting to the venues

Parking is limited at both sites, so public transport or organised shuttles are the preferred options.

Saturday — Marlay Park

Dublin Bus routes 14, 16 and 74 serve Marlay Park. Concert Express and Marathon Coaches run services from the city centre, and shuttle operators such as JJ Kavanaghs, Irish Concert Travel, and Buses to Concerts provide links from outside Dublin. The nearest Luas stop to the venue is at Ballaly.

Sunday — Malahide Castle and Gardens

Concert Express operates services from areas including Blanchardstown, Finglas, Ratoath, Ashbourne and Swords. TravelMaster and JJ Kavanagh offer nationwide return travel from counties such as Kildare, Waterford, Kilkenny, Limerick and Cork. From the city centre, buses on route 42 or H2 go to Malahide Village.

Ticket availability

Both nights are sold out on Ticketmaster.

In case you want to revisit the moment

If you want a reminder of one of the shows’ big hits, the music video for We Found Love was filmed in Ireland and remains one of Calvin Harris’s most-watched collaborative tracks.
