Dublin pizza brand Bambino has announced a third city-centre outlet after reporting accumulated profits exceeding €1 million in 2025. The fast-growing slice shop — modelled on New York-style pizza spots — will open on Camden Street, adding to its two existing locations in the city.
New site and neighbourhood
The new premises sit in the unit formerly occupied by the Port House, adjacent to Chinese restaurant Hang Dai. Bambino says the Camden Street location offers a little more space than its current sites and includes a small outdoor area at the front.

Management described Camden Street as one of the city’s livelier streets and highlighted neighbouring businesses such as Sprout & Co, Frank’s Dublin and Anseo Bar. They expect the venue to become a busy evening spot in warmer months.
Timing and next steps
The team aims to open mid-summer and is targeting July for a first service. They said updates will follow as work progresses, and they also teased an additional announcement due in the next week or two.
Current footprint and customer demand
Bambino currently trades from 37 Stephen Street Lower and 18 Merrion Street Upper. The Merrion Street site is noticeably quieter, the brand has noted — a useful tip for anyone hoping to avoid queues.
Queues are a familiar sight outside the shops, reflecting strong local appetite for quick, New York-style slices. Followers on social media greeted the Camden Street news enthusiastically, with some calling it “sensational” and others describing the expansion as a dream come true for fans.
