Celebrity chef Rachel Allen has joined forces with Irish snack maker O’Donnells Crisps to create two limited-edition flavours set to arrive in stores in the coming weeks. The collaboration pairs Allen’s culinary touch with the county-based brand’s focus on quality ingredients.

The range includes a comforting, rich Sunday roast crisp and a more refined Sea Salt and Truffle variety. Both flavours will be available only for a limited time, the companies say.

The chef’s approach

Allen described the partnership as a natural opportunity to translate home-cooked flavours into a snack format. She said she was “thrilled” to be invited to help develop the new crisps and wanted to produce tastes she would personally choose.

“Their crisps are made with such care for quality, so creating these flavours has been a real pleasure,” Allen added, expressing hope that the new flavours will be shared among family and friends.

Kate O’Donnell, speaking for the company, framed the tie-up as a meeting of shared values: a commitment to Irish ingredients and recipes that bring people together. She said Allen’s experience and focus on quality made the collaboration a “natural fit.”

The brand signalled excitement about introducing the products to consumers across Ireland, while noting the releases are temporary.
