Oughterard Village is located in the West of Ireland in County Galway. An angling village situated close to the shores of Lough Corrib.


History of Oughterard

Oughterard is situated on the banks of the river Owenriff, it is well known location for fishing. Lough Corrib is the largest lake in Ireland and contains many small islands, one of which is called the Inchagoill which can be reached from the Oughterard Pier.
