Faithlegg Hotel in County Waterford has opened an on-site boutique offering guests a selection of locally produced foods, crafts and the hotel’s own kitchen-made preserves. The shop underscores the hotel’s emphasis on regional suppliers and small Irish makers, giving visitors a way to take Waterford flavours home.
House-made preserves and pantry items
The boutique includes an in-house range created in Faithlegg’s kitchens by executive chef Jenny Flynn. Her offerings span jams, chutneys, oils, dressings and baked sweet treats, all prepared on site.

On the shelf visitors will find items such as Raspberry and Estate Elderflower Jam, Strawberry & Mint Vinegar, a balsamic oil and Muldoon’s Whiskey marmalade.
Working with local artisans
Faithlegg says it prioritises local sourcing across menus and hotel retail, partnering with producers around Waterford. That network supplies much of what appears in the new boutique.
One featured supplier is Cocoabyjudit, a West Waterford chocolatier known for awards at Blas na hÉireann. Using ethically sourced cocoa and locally chosen ingredients, the business’s chocolates are now available at the hotel.
Sustainability in supply and waste reuse
The boutique also highlights producers whose processes emphasise waste reduction. Coffee offered on site comes from Coffee House Lane, roasted locally with a focus on minimising by‑product.
Roasting chaff is repurposed by a local vineyard and orchard, Viking Irish Drinks, which also supplies the hotel with wine and cider. Used coffee grounds are collected by Faithlegg’s gardening team and reused in planting.
Irish makers and design-led gifts
The retail space features a curated selection of Irish makers and designers, chosen for craft and sustainability as well as local connection.
- Polly and Andy Socks — sustainable bamboo socks designed with sensory comfort in mind.
- Work by artist Jayné Cahill, whose pieces appear on the hotel’s welcome cards.
- Textiles from Foxford and McKernan Woollen Mills.
- Pawpear greeting cards and writing sets.
Faithlegg’s boutique aims to reflect the region’s food and craft scene while keeping many production steps close to home, offering guests a compact showcase of Waterford producers.
