InterContinental Dublin has opened a seasonal Garden Terrace experience called La Vie en Rose, bringing a Provençal summer mood to its hotel grounds. The offering, billed as “A Taste of Provence”, pairs rosé-led drinks with light Mediterranean-style dishes for relaxed afternoons and evenings.
The setting
The terrace sits within the hotel’s well-tended grounds and is designed for informal meet-ups, after-work drinks and extended summer evenings outdoors. Tables are arranged to encourage small groups and casual conversation.

Food inspired by Provence
The menu focuses on simple, shareable plates that reflect Provençal flavours in partnership with AIX Rosé. Expect dishes meant for grazing rather than a formal meal.
- Fougasse — a rustic Provençal flatbread served with aioli, tapenade and aubergine caviar.
- Pissaladière — a French-style flatbread topped with anchovies, tomato and olives.
- Irish Seafood Platter — smoked salmon, oysters, crab salad, prawns and crab claws, with an option to add caviar.
Drinks and pairings
Rosé takes centre stage. Guests can choose a chilled glass of AIX Rosé or select from a range of summer cocktails and spritzes to accompany the food. The programme emphasises light, seasonal pairings suited to warm afternoons and mild evenings.
Practical details
La Vie en Rose launches this month. The Garden Terrace can be covered to provide shade, and outdoor heaters are available if temperatures drop, aiming to keep the space comfortable after dusk.
