Irish hotel group Harcourt Developments expects combined turnover from its two flagship properties to top €37 million in 2026, a rise of about 6% on the previous year, while spa and leisure income is projected to climb roughly 20%. The projections arrive as the hotels collect several high-profile industry awards.
Stronger revenues driven by guest services
Harcourt forecasts that Lough Eske Castle in Donegal and Carlisle Bay in Antigua will together generate more than €37 million in revenue next year, marking an approximate 6% year-on-year increase. The group says combined spa and leisure revenues should grow by around 20%, a sign of rising demand for wellness and resort services at both properties.

Company executives framed the numbers as evidence of continued momentum across the collection’s high-end hotels. The gains reflect performance at two very different sites—an Irish castle hotel and a Caribbean resort—each targeting premium travel markets.
Awards underline quality and recognition
This uplift coincides with a run of industry recognition. Lough Eske Castle was named Best Five Star Hotel of the Year at the Georgina Campbell Awards, while Carlisle Bay secured a top‑10 place in the Condé Nast Traveller Readers' Choice Awards and received its first Michelin Key. Harcourt said the two hotels won a total of three major hospitality accolades.
Group chief operating officer Clement Gaffney described the honours as an affirmation of the teams at each property. He highlighted the differing strengths of the hotels—from Lough Eske’s local character and cuisine to Carlisle Bay’s focus on wellness and relaxed luxury—saying those qualities are underpinned by a shared commitment to genuine hospitality.
Conference brings industry together
The awards and forecasts were unveiled at Harcourt’s Annual Hospitality Conference, held at Lough Eske Castle earlier this month under the theme “Agility through Adaptability, Impact through Immersion.” The event gathered staff and sector figures to celebrate achievements, exchange ideas and debate the future direction of hospitality within the group.

The Harcourt Collection: history and portfolio
