The College Green Hotel in Dublin is marking its 25th year with a new cultural stay that ties luxury accommodation to the city’s long tradition of craftsmanship. The hotel has launched a package called A Silver Legacy, created in collaboration with Dublin silversmiths Silverworks.

What the package offers

The experience pairs an overnight stay at The College Green Hotel with champagne on arrival and a curated guide to Hidden Dublin. Guests also receive exclusive, private access to the Silverworks Atelier, where they can meet master craftspeople and learn about traditional silverworking techniques.

Rates for the offering start at €600 per person sharing. The hotel describes the package as an opportunity to combine a city break with hands-on insight into one of Ireland’s enduring crafts.

Words from the hotel

“As we celebrate 25 years of welcoming guests to The College Green Hotel Dublin, we wanted to create an experience that reflects this building’s remarkable history and the creativity that has always defined this address,” said Joanne Dillon, general manager, The College Green Hotel Dublin.

“A Silver Legacy is a tribute to Dublin’s makers, craftspeople and cultural heritage, offering guests the opportunity to create something meaningful while becoming part of the story of one of the city’s great addresses.”

A storied building at the city’s heart

The hotel occupies a building with more than 200 years of history. Before its life as a luxury hotel and, earlier, as a grand banking hall, the site housed the Royal Irish Institution—an important centre for art exhibitions, music and creative life in Ireland.

That institutional past played a role in shaping Dublin’s cultural scene and influenced generations of artists and makers. The new guest experience aims to connect visitors directly with that creative lineage.

By linking a city-centre stay to workshops, expert encounters and curated local routes, the hotel is positioning the anniversary package as both a celebration and an invitation to explore Dublin’s craft and cultural heritage.
